| Toy Description To simply think of Transformers toys as robots that turn into vehicles is really a disservice to yourself because it totally neglects the rich and complex back story endemic to the franchise. Vector Prime, a kindly Autobot from nine billion years in the past, is brought into the present to help defeat the Decepticons and save the planet Cybertron from a black hole (note: toy will not save you from black holes). In our informal tabletop test, he moved easily from robot form to spaceship form and features a variety of electronic sounds (activated by using a special key), a spring loaded missile, and a mini-con sidekick named Safeguard. For a time traveling, planet saving robot, one might wish Vector Prime was a little better at standing up but overall he makes for a striking and entertaining toy. |

STINKY KEY POWER!!!!!!!! vector prime is cool except for the colors, flexibity, legs in vieicle mode and the main subject of this review, his cyper key, which does nothing except make a stupid noise. it would be so awosome if they made the sword locked in and inacsesable unless you put his key in, like optmus' heavy ion blaster, wouldn't it!!!!!
Shame on you, Hasbro. The figure is great, but I'm rating Hasbro's choice to pocket more money by not including parts and paint.They could have at least changed the pic on the box so we wouldn't know what we were missing. Even the coloring is darker and not as cool as the original japanese version.
Overall good transformer Pros: unique vehicle mode design, gears and such can be seen, possibly as proof of the character's older age; robot mode believable as being an old, wise, intelligent warrior
