Won't last long
The "Hot Wheels" and "Grave Digger" brands were a huge plus for my 6-year old son, but the toy is rather cumbersome to spring-load. My son finds it difficult, as do his much older friends. Do it wrong, and the plastic parts will suffer early damage. I don't expect it to be functional after a couple of months.
monster disappointment
This toy is way overpriced. It is too difficult for children under 8 to snap the jumping mechanism into place. It requires a lot of smooth surface to work...a driveway would be good, but you see the safety concerns with that idea. This is not worth the money. You can get a regular toy truck for a quarter of the price and the child will have as much fun.
A little tricky for younger children
I bought this truck for my 3 year old and while he loves it is is hard for him to push down to connect the parts that allow the truck to "jump."So he loves the truck and has fun playing with it, I have to push it down for him each time and I'll admit that it is hard for me to do sometimes, I use my foot to push it down. It is a little expesive too, for what you get in my opinion.
