| Toy Description We doubt it was the mode of transportation made available to Anakin Skywalker by the Jedi knights that made him renounce his friends, take up with the dark side, and become Darth Vader. Because the starfighter given to the conflicted and sullen Anakin was actually pretty cool. Done up in toy version here, it sports wings that open into an x-formation, a pair of spring-loaded missiles, an embedded R2 unit, retractable landing gear, and a canopy. We found the ship to be well built and attractive. Unlike many toys, there are no batteries to buy, insert, or worry about here. It's simply a vehicle for imaginative play, something that the Star Wars series has always provided in ample amounts. |

Great toy, for collectors or players This is my first review...but I thought it was worth it. I collect different toys from hit movies, in the vague hope I too will one day own an expensive collectors item, lol. Well, this toy is perfect for collectors and "openers." It looks very good, almost hand-built model quality details. It's one of the most accurate vehicle reproductions I've seen, which is saying a lot. All in all, a great item. Can't say about durability since mine is destined to be box-ridden, but it certainly looks durable enough for a child to toss around a little and hold up. Honestly, I'm 23 years old and I have to fight the urge to open it up and make starfighter noises around the house...which I'm certain would go well with the significant other!
awsome toy I got this toy a few weeks ago and I love it. It has a lot of cool features, for example the wings open to atack position just like in the movie. There are also two firing misiles(one on each wing). It is well werth the money!!!
A good exclusive! This is a good price exclusive to every one, kids, "openers" and to "mint in box" collectors. Highly recommended. |
