The epic battles between the Rebel Alliance and Imperial forces are played out again between two of their most popular ships. The Rebel Y-Wing, the Alliances' classic fighter-bomber, battles with a pair of nose-mounted lasers and ion cannon turret against the TIE (twin ion engine) fighter manned by Darth Vader himself. Both sets are perfectly detailed and look great when constructed. The instructions are complete and easy to follow, though probably suited more for older kids (or their collector parents) to build these replicas. You also get Dark Vader with light saber, Rebel pilot, and droid navigator to assemble. Due to multiple small pieces, this is not recommended for younger children. --Chip Quinn
