A must have for your little Thomas Fan!!

This is a must have for anyone who has kids who LOVE Thomas the Tank Engine! We have had our bed for almost a year and got it when my son just turned 2. He has never fallen out of it (even if he did, the bed is so low that nothing will happen to him). It does need plywood in the bottom of the bed for extra support. We had his mattress in there without the support and he jumped on it once and it fell down inside the bottom of the bed. Once we got the plywood though, it has been perfect!

Loves to sleep in his own bed!

My boyfriend and I were having issues with having his son sleep in his own bed and told him he could pick a "big boy" bed if he slept in it. He chose this one and sleeps in it "all by himself".I love the toy storage on the end of the train as well as the bookshelf above the bed, which personally I would have liked it a little deeper. Now that he's almost 5 the train bed is still the highlight of our house and he LOVES to show everyone, including vacuum cleaner salesman and pizza guys his "Big boy Thomas bed". It supports him and I just fine, and is easy to clean. Now that he's almost 5 he doesn't fit it as well and has about another 6 inches to grow before it would be better to get him a twin bed.

He stays in bed!

This bed was very easy to assemble and certainly sturdy enough for a 3 1/2 year old boy. My son had trouble staying in bed, mainly for naps, and now he loves to be in his Thomas bed! It looks great and my son loves it! Even though it doesn't come with a mattress spring, we used the one from his crib and it fit perfectly!
