Millenium Falcon - one of the greatest Lego sets

As a long time Lego collector, I rate the Millenium Falcon (Lego 4504) as one of the greatest Lego sets of the last decade. Like many, I didn't buy the first release of the Millenium Falcon (Lego 7190) back in 1999, and I still regret it. I bought this second release of the Millenium Falcon the day it hit the stores in 2004. From the photos of the first release, I think the second release is better. It is massive in size (though not to scale, it is Lego after all) and comes with 5 rare mini-figures, including Han Solo, Chewbacca, Princess Leia, C-3PO, and an Imperial Snowtrooper. This set was so much fun to put together I actually took it apart and assembled it again. If I could give the Millenium Falcon 6 stars, I would.

A fun project, but definitely not a toy to be played with

I bought the Millennium Falcon as a father/son bonding toy. My five year old son and I put it together over the course of a few evenings and on a Sunday. It was fun to put it together and it is loaded with details (i.e. the escape pod, engine room, ramp, and tools). It was exciting to put it together, but is not the most durable and could come apart without supporting the bottom of the ship. The only problem I had with it was putting on the two outside triangles on the front of the ship. Otherwise everything fit well, and the instructions were very detailed and thorough. I would recommend this toy, but would advise using it more for display or if you are going to play with it, place it on the ground first.

Great set, fun to play with.

I got this set awhile ago and yes I know about all the stuff poppin off but you guys missed 1 detail about that- ITS EZ 2 PUT BAK ON! the only thing that canget anoyying is that when ya dont bring her in for a good landing, sometimes one or two of the feet pop of. then i hav 2 go find my mom and tell her to hold it up while i put them back in place. But overall this is avery fun thing.
