Great Headphones! I use these on extended bus rides and these block out the sound perfectly. When you need to hear what someone is saying, I find it enough to pause the music and I can still hear what is being said. A question though; did everyone else get the black silicon flex sleves with their E2C's? The box doesn't say that it includes them and this amazon page displays the contents of the E3C's, but I find the black sleves to fit my ears the best.
Awesome sound especially w/ IAudio U2! Fit could be better.. Before I got these E2C's I had the Sony earplugs which were great for the price. However, once I got those E2C's properly wedged into my ear canal the sound was so much clearer and cleaner that I was immediately hooked.
Silence is golden! I'm a writer in a cubicle farm, and was looking for headphones that would block out the noise around me (including some rather enthusiastically loud iTunes users) so I could concentrate on writing. Truthfully I didn't realize that they were sound isolating (rather than sound cancelling) earphones 'til I opened the box... but boy am I glad I got them!
