Disappointed

We bought this for our 3 1/2 month old for Christmas. It is now two weeks later and the music component is broken. We changed batteries to no avail. Our baby likes the toy, the music attracted his attention, but now that feature is a complete bust. What a disappointment. It would seem that our experience is not unique. Don't know if we'd buy another Baby Einstein toy, this being our first. By the way, the music itself didn't bother me at all. I rather liked it. However, if you want symphony quality, buy a CD from your favorite orchestra.

Versatile toy--music is great!

My 3 month-old loves this toy! So many things to do. It is bright and colorful. Plus has lots of sounds (beads and crinkly sounds) There is a teether petal, rattle, plush lady-bug, chasing rings, and a peek-a-boo mirror inside and the music box is wonderful. It plays 3 tunes and the sound is good quality. We hang this in our car in front of our son's car seat so he has something to look at and play with. Plus when he kicks the center the music starts playing. Great toy!!!

Daughter still plays with this toy!

I received this as a shower gift. It's one of the first toys my daughter was interested in, starting at around 2 months. At 9 months she still loves it, and has figured out how to make the music go by herself. I don't find the music that annoying, maybe because it's classical. My baby takes full advantage of all the features of this toy: the music, things to chew on, rattles, colors and textures. She really looks like she's concentrating when she plays with it. I'll admit at 9 months her interest is waning a bit, but she still likes it alot, esp. to chew on.
