great for two year olds

Every time I see my twin daughters riding these bikes around I make a promise to write a review of the product. Here I am fulfilling my promise. They were able to pedal the bike within 2 - 3 days of getting them. They are a great size for two year olds plus they fold up so that I can carry both in the back of my small car (89 chevy camaro) and are light enough that I can carry them by the big handle in the back when the girls want to run instead of bike. The only drawback is that they are a little unstable on tight turns.

well worth the money

I bought this for my granddaughter that is 2 1/2, she couldn't reach the pedals on her sisters 12 inch trike, she got on this one and rode off on it immediately. My 17 month old grandson took it away from her and is riding it. We bought the girls pink fold up for her and now they are both happy with their trikes. It is well worth the money. As for turning over as some have said, any trike or bike will turn over if you turn to sharp so we have cautioned ours to be careful when they turn and so far they haven't had a fall. They really enjoy their "big" trikes like their older cousin.

Great first bike!

I had a hard time finding a trike that my son, then 2 yrs old, could ride. This was the only bike where he could touch the ground while sitting on the seat - and he test drove every trike at Toys'R'US. The bike has taken a lot of abuse the past 1-1/2 years, but it is holding up great. My son is now 3-1/2 and just starting to grow out of this trike. I would recommend this for any first-time rider!
