Yippie a bed he sleeps in

My husband and I purchased this bed out of sheer will and prayer that our 16 1/2 month old would sleep somewhere other than just with us. We had it shipped the quickest way and put it up in the room. I LOVE IT, we all do for that matter. The bed was very easy to put together. Some of the paint is a little shabby, but nothing that can't be fixed or forgotten about. Our little one sleeps all night and comforatably in the bed. It uses a crib mattress so we did not have to buy a new mattress. It gives him the freedom he needs but also the sleep he needs. We ALL sleep better now that he has his "big boy bed". We can't get him out of it, he plays on it all the time. Thank goodness for this bed.

My daughter was almost 2 when we switched her to the toddler bed. It was a little difficult to put together by myself (use two people) but once it was up it looked beautiful! It can definently handle an adult sitting on it without problem. The finish is even and it is a perfect bed for my little princess.

Okay for the price--$50

Bought this at Toys R Us for $50 (reg. $79.99). It seems sturdy enough, but we just put it together today so I don't know how it will stand the test of time. Directions say weight limit is 50 lbs! Paint was uneven, you can see the wood through the paint on some of the pieces and one guard rail was not sanded smooth and was very splintery and not painted well (bare wood exposed). The support pieces didn't all fit perfectly. Honestly, for the $50 I spent I think it is "OKAY." However, I would not spend $80 on it, its not great quality.
