While it may be "Ez", it needs work to be gr8.

The Ez8 is a good kit for modellers just getting into Master Grade kits, however it isn't the best kit out there.

poorly designed small parts

Too many small pieces that falls off. Weapons were poorly made and looks like garbage or something from a 1/144 series kit. I thought the backpack idea was pretty cool though. Its a good buy for $15 even if the model itself looks crappy. Its also quite easy to build, my 10 year old brother made himself one in 2 days. Buy it for the official Gundam screwdriver that comes with the kit, its perfect for PG models.

Frontline Grunt

The Master Grade RX-79 EZ-8 Gundam is a great gundam model with loads of weapons for a small price. Only true fans should buy this model because of the amount of time needed to complete the model. While paint is not required it is recommended because of the greater level of detail you can achieve by painting the various small parts (panel lines and weapons).
