Too much fun in one box!

My son got the Lego Mindstorm 2.0 this summer. He has not gone a day without building something. This set is compatible with other Lego sets(Spybotics, Dark side destroyer, Droid Developer kit). It has opened up all sorts of learning paths for him (building, designing, programming, physics, mathematics, researching, problem solving,...). There are some problems if you are operating with the WIN XP operating system. They are easily solved by doing a little research on the internet or calling the Lego Mindstorms tech support. The tech support is VERY helpful! This set is worth every penny! It is a great set for beginners as well as more advanced users.

NOT ENOUGH PIECES :(

whatever u do DONT BUY THIS....THIS IS ALL A TRICK...THERE IS VERY LITTLE PIECES...AND YOU CANNOT MAKE WHAT YOU REALLY WANT TO MAKE...THE MOTORS ARE NOT WORKING...ONLY TWO MOTORS IS NOT ENOUGH TO MAKE EVEN A CAR THAT ONLY GOES FORWARD...THE SNESORS ARE JUST A SIMPLE KEY AND THE LIGHT SENSOR IS NOT REAL TIME>>>you get feedback only after a sencond has passed. the RCX will disfunction after two weeks (i know i have this set, unfortunately) for a THOUSAND dollars this is just highway rubbery... THE LEGO PIECES ARE NOT ENOUGHT (i know i have seen)

Excellent Toy

This set is impressive. Can spend hours with it. If I could, I would just add a rather unexpensive sound sensor, to trigger commands with sounds, like claps, etc.
