Toy Description

Introduce your toddler to numbers, letters, and music with this interactive driving toy. Your child can: discover the differences between Upper and Lowercase letters; motor through numbers one through ten; listen to the sounds of the engine, horn, and other traffic sounds; or bop along to some cute songs. A little LCD screen shows numbers, letters, or scenery as your child uses the steering wheel, gear shift, ignition key, and horn to navigate through the learning modes. In driving mode, your child can follow directions, listen for the sounds of rain, or a train, and see the corresponding images roll by. In music mode, the gear shift can quicken or slow down the pace of the music. To advance to the next tune, just tap the horn. The gear shift also sets the pace for how fast you want to move through the numbers or letters modes. All this steering and shifting is good for developing your toddler's fine motor skills, as well as cognitive skills. This is a toy that won't get old fast; there are so many ways to play. Requires 4 AA batteries (included). --Megan Sullivan

A lifesaver!

My daughter got this last Christmas - she was 18 months. She still loves it - and sings along with her ABC's. Now our son, 10 months, adores it. It's a lifesaver in the car when I'm trying to drive - I can hear them babbling along with it, singing, changing gears, sounds, and honking their own horn. It distracts them wonderfully during rush hour - a time when most babies and toddlers are cranky, and so are we. This way we get to make the commute home a little nicer - and educational.

Surprisingly, it's one of the few toys they willingly share. I don't understand why, but I'm not going to question why. I'm just going to be grateful for the peace it gives me during my commute, and the joy it gives my kids.
It's also easily cleaned. (a very big plus). It has volume control and an off switch - also very important. There are several different settings, so you don't find yourself listening to the same thing over and over and over again. There's songs, counting, alphabet, as well as driving and environmental sounds, and visual stimulation for them also on the screen. It's also very durable, since I keep it in the car (I won't take it out, since I'm afraid I might forget it at home.) Both my kids have dropped it a number of times - and so have I. And it still works as great as it did the day we got it.

Amazing toy

This toy keeps my 16 month old son busy for a long time. He loves it because it has music and car sounds. My sister-in-law got it for his 1 year birthday and in 4 months it still hasn't lost its' appeal. It has a lot of learning too which makes me happy!
