Electronics Description

The layout of PlayStation2's Dual Shock 2 controller is nearly identical to that of the original PlayStation's Dual Shock controller, which is good news for most gamers. The main new feature is that, when the buttons are pushed, the controller can register how much pressure is being exerted. This adds a completely new dimension to sports, racing, fighting, and more games. Aside from the Start and Select buttons, all of the functions are analog for greater control, a wider variety of operations, and a more compelling interactive experience. Two convex analog thumb pads and two force-feedback solenoid rumblers round out the features. This controller is also compatible with all software that supports the original Dual Shock controller.

Customer Reviews

It's just a controller and a pretty crappy one at that

Hell you need it to play games and that is the only reason you need one of these, third party controllers are better and not as flimsy but most won't work with your ps2 so your stuck with the duel shock 2. My main problems with this thing is how breakable it you can't squeeze it to hard accidently drop it because it will break it has bappened to me many times, you must be really careful with it or you will be stuck payin the outrageous price twenty bucks which is too much for how breakable it is. Other than it works.

Best controller on the market

The controller for the PlayStation 2 is probably the most comfortable and sturdiest pad that I've played with. Yeah, the Xbox controller is pretty cool, but the buttons on this controller are easy to reach and very responsive. Just be carful about buying a colored controller. They may look cool, but I think they're less sturdy than the black controllers.

ps2 controllers...

hmm... gotta think of what to put in here. well, i bought more of these cuz the ps2 only came with 1 and i broke it out of anger. (slammed it into the wood armrest) so i got a blue one and the i got a black see-thru one later. they work so i like them. they look the same as the original ps controllers. yeah thats all i have to say about these. oh i know, the top buttons like the l2 and r2 get stuck sometimes but thats no big deal.
