| Toy Description If you cross a red car with a plastic boat and combine the result with one of those big Victorian baby carriages, you get this entirely novel mode of tot transportation. This little car--32 inches long by 18 inches wide, and riding on 7-inch plastic wheels--has an integral plastic seat 9 inches off the ground and can be powered by two little feet through the hole in the floor. Alternatively, raise the bandshell-style yellow nylon hood and push your preschooler around using the 38-inch-high metal handle that sticks up from behind. The "cockpit" is fully equipped with steering wheel, beeping "horn," an ignition key that turns, a gear shift, and various battery-powered sound effects. Adult assembly is required. |

Red Car This toy was purchased for our one year old gradson. He loves it. Right now he either pushes it around or sits in it for someone else to push him around. Later he will be able to make it go with his feet. He loves all the sounds it makes by pushing buttons, etc.
His favorite toy! I was looking for a nice alternative to the stroller for around the neighborhood. This is a near perfect as I could find. My 14 month old son is absolutely in love with it. When he's not riding in it, he's playing with it from the outside. I do have some constructive criticism however...
This car is fun We bought this car for our 1 year old daughter and she loves it. The car was easy to assemble and it took my husband about 30 minutes. The sounds (horns, car vroom sound, and London Bridge tune) are good and there is a squeaky horn on the wheel and clicky key & shifter. The car is easy to guide although the plastic wheels are a little noisy but no big deal. The canopy comes in handy on sunny days. The car has a removable floor board so your child can use the car when she gets older. The one problem is a lack of a seat belt. We ordered a part from Little Tikes for about $8.00, which includes shipping so we'll see how that works.
