great learning fun

i bought this toy about two years ago and I still haven't had to change the batteries! my three year old son LOVES to play with this and spends a lot of time practicing his letters. well worth the money. very durable and i too love that there are no pieces to lose.

PHONICS WRITING DESK

Great learning tool disguised as a toy. My granddaughter plays with the writing tool section constantly. I am very pleased with the purchase and it's functionality.

GREAT PRODUCT!

I was having a hard time getting my 4 year old to practice writing his letters. He got bored easily with it. I attempted every practice writing book, I bought the 1st grade pencils, I tried markers to make it more fun for him to write, I tried a chalk board, I tried the dry erase marker board, I printed out lettering sheets off the internet, but nothing worked too well. He never before has took a dislike to learning, he has always been one to pick up on new things quick. He has known all his letters since he was 2 years old, but when it comes right down to writing them, that part was'nt his thing. I happened to see this writing desk and when I saw that it had the electronic screen to show how to write each letter as well as the magic erase board to practice lettering I immediately knew this might help my son to want to learn to write. He loves this writing desk! I figured he might be too old for this at first, it looked like some of his toys he had when he was younger, but it says on the box 4+ (although it would be great even for younger children around the age of 3) but it also has 3 letter words to spell, learning to write cursive writing, lower case letters and upper case letters. Very impressive that leap shows you how to write each letter. That helped my son so much. When I tried to show him he could'nt see exactly the way I was doing it, but on the leap writing desk it shows you simple steps at a time to easily master writing each letter!
